I got lipstick on my collar. Can you help before I get home?

Question:

Dear. Doctor Clean-

We were at a business event promoting my company when my office assistant got emotional thanking me that she has not lost her job in this tight economy. In any event she got her lipstick on the collar of my shirt.

I do NOT want to have to explain this when I get home, especially since it was entirely innocent!

What can I do?

Answer:

Dear Love-

Um, okay, making no judgments here, I have heard of one solution. Try applying some toothpaste to the mark. Rub it in well, then wash as you normally would. If you don't have access to a washing machine then wash it out well at a sink. Liquid hand soap found in most office restrooms will do a decent job.

All that being said, if there is nothing to hide just tell your wife what happened. The truth is always best!

Maybe my side job should be marriage counseling?
